If you are using the Internet Explorer 6 Web browser, recent changes to our servers will prevent you from connecting to any of the pages using the HTTPS protocol (secure connections) typically used for payment processes. You'll likely see the message shown below.
Please choose from one of the options below to regain the ability to make secure connections.
#1 – Upgrade to Internet Explorer 8
. You can do so by visiting Microsoft’s website at http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/internet-explorer-8-details.aspx
, downloading and then installing it.
#2 – Download Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox Web browsers. Both of these are much newer, more secure and have many additional features than Internet Explorer 8. You can download these browsers here… http://www.google.com/chrome/ or http://www.mozilla.org
#3 – If you really don’t want to upgrade, or your IT department has told you not to, here are instructions on how to modify the Internet Options settings in Internet Explorer 6 to regain the ability to connect using HTTPS for secure connections.
In the Internet Explorer 6 menu roll over Tools, then click on Internet Options… as shown below.
On the menu that appears, choose the far right hand side, Advanced tab, and scroll to the very bottom of that screen. It should look like the picture below.
Now, uncheck Use SSL 2.0 and Use SSL 3.0, and Check Use TLS 1.0 (TLS is the replacement for the older SSL protocol). Your screen should look like the picture below.
Now click OK. That’s it, you are done. You should now be able to securely connect to the HTTPS pages in this site.
