Your Mail Server and Account Name for your Droid will be provided at no charge.

Droid support for setting up email accounts and troubleshooting is billed per 1/4 hour. (minimum $30.00)

As a courtesy we have included some general email settings below. You can also follow this step by step tutorial on how to set up a personal email account.

Account Name: mail.domainname.ext
Real Name: John
Email address: myname@domainname.ext

Incoming Settings:

Server: mail.domainname.ext
Port: 110
Username: myname@domainname.ext
Password: enter your password
Use Secure Server: unchecked
Verify Certificate: First try Unchecked for both Incoming and Outgoing, if that doesn’t work then try again with that checked

Outgoing Settings:

Smtp: mail.domainname.ext
Port: 25 , if that doesn’t work then try 587
Username: myname@domainname.ext
Password: enter your password
Use Secure Server: unchecked
Verify Certificate: First try Unchecked for both Incoming and Outgoing, if that doesn’t work then try again with that checked

Note: There is a known issue with 2.2 not handling pop e-mail retrieval. The only solution that we have for you is to forward your e-mail to a Gmail account (Gmail is one ISP that we do allow forwarding to).
